Hey folks, Schurman's 2017 Iron Ranch vintage bicycle swap meet was awesome! More vendors than I've seen in a long time, lots of deals, lots of friends, great weather. It was one of those days that makes you accutely happy to be alive.
The few random snaps at the bottom of the page are from the 2012 event. (Was so busy buying stuff this year that I only snagged a few pics with my phone.) Anyway, tell your bike buddies, pass the word. Iron Ranch is the place to be to buy, sell, or trade vintage bicycles and parts. It happens once a year, just like Christmas.
The date for Iron Ranch 2016 is Saturday, September 15th. The location is 23100 NE 10th Ave, Ridgefield WA 98642. Type it into the map app of your choice. Official swap start time is 8AM, so if you roll in around 10AM, rest assured that I've already bought most of the vintage bicycles and parts that you were looking for.
There is a $20 fee for a space to set up and sell your junk / treasure at Iron Ranch. This small fee ensures that the Iron Ranch swap meet will continue in future years. Free admission to browse and buy. No dogs.
Anyway, get psyched up, grab that cash and make a dash. Let's sell some junk and buy some treasures. And meet some friends that you didn't know you already had.
There' so much more to the Iron Ranch than just the bike swap. If you're into old stuff, especially large old metal stuff, you really owe it to yourself to check it out.
Hello, Canadians! Ain't old bikes rad?
